Sue Bird

Sue’s background is in medical technology, with an emphasis on clinical trials. Since retiring in 2001, I have really enjoyed volunteering for the Old Town Newhall Association, building new relationships and friendships.

Nilton Rodrigues

Santa Clarita Resident since 1999. Owner of Nilton Rodrigues State Farm on Main St. in Old Town Newhall. Over 20 years in the Financial Industry.

Ashley Redmond

Ashley is a native of the Old Town Newhall area. She is a practicing Real Estate professional with significant ties to the area.

Victor Feany

Raised in Newhall. Victor is a founding member of Old Town Newhall Association. He is and has been committed to improving Newhall.

Diane Vradenburg

Born and raised in Santa Clarita Valley. Co-owner of Newhall Hardware.

Alan Ferdman
Vice Chairman

Alan Ferdman and his wife Pamela were married in 1963 and moved to the Santa Clarita Valley in 1965. They have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Together with his Mother, the Ferdman clan has 4 generations living in Santa Clarita. Alan is a retired Aerospace Engineer and Department Manager. He holds a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. During his career he held senior positions at Litton Guidance & Control in Woodland Hills, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena and as an adjunct faculty member at National University. Alan has always believed in giving back to the community. He volunteered for LACO Parks and Recreation, served on numerous City of Santa Clarita Panels and Committees and is most well known as CEO of the Santa Clarita Community Council and Chair of the Canyon Country Advisory Committee, a position he has held since 2002. Alan’s commitment to lending a helping hand continues to grow. In addition to his role an Old Town Newhall Association Board Member, he serves as President of the Eagle Colligate Academy Charter School Foundation Board, Samuel Dixon Family Heath Center Board Treasurer, and Vice-Chair of the Santa Clarita Senior Center Advisory Council. Alan’s love of country, community and helping Santa Clarita residents is well known and reflects his motto, “Together We Can Make a Difference”.

Larry Bird

One of the founding members of the Old Town Newhall Association and first Chairman of the Association. Forty plus year resident of Newhall.

Roy Coe

Roy has lived from Hawaii to New York City. He has raced sailboats, cars and motorcycles. Roy’s Cycles started in 1969 in New York and moved to California in 1977, opening at his present location in 2008. He specializes in the ART of Motorcycles, offering retail and repair on all brands from around the world. His customers come from Las Vegas to the South Bay.

Joseph Jasik-Drdol

Joseph opened his business, German Autohaus, in Old Town Newhall in March of 1984. He is passionate about the arts. Joseph has had several exhibitions in Europe and the US. “My art represents my own vision of abstract images in photography. I am inspired by the reflection of objects in other objects. My art is created based on what I see, which are colors, forms, and shapes, and is not manipulated in any way using a computer.” When he is not working at his business or photography, he is participating in marathons every other week. In the last 9 years, Joseph has participated in 166 marathons.

Shane Bathwell

Shane is the Assistant General Manager at the Old Town Junction. He studied Communications at California State University, Long Beach and attended Valencia High School.

Mandy Meeks

Mandy is the General Manager of Old Town Newhall’s newest restaurant to open The Old Town Junction.

Larry McClements

Larry has been a Santa Clarita resident since 1985 and is the Manager of the Old Town Newhall Farmers Market. Larry is an avid foodie and helps oversee the Santa Clarita Foodies Facebook group. When he is not cooking or at the farmers market, he can be found shopping or dining in Old Town Newhall.
